Message Okay, first I want to thank everyone for their patience and great advice that everyone has been giving me. Second, I have decided to take everyone's advice to save up for a TT.

I found this TT that seems to be the best thing I can find, and I've talked to the owner and everything he's said is music to my ears. I really want to get this one but I want to run it by you guys to make sure that i'm not being blinded by the happiness of finally being so close to owning a 300zx... and better yet a 300zx.

Here's the ad:

1991 300zx TT 118k(chassis), $8000
Exterior Color Burgundy
Interior Color Charcoal

1991 NISSAN 300ZX, 118K mi, 300ZX TWIN TURBO, JDM ENGINE 33,000K,NEW TURBOS,CLUTCH,HARNESS AND MORE!, $8,000, 386-334-9885

The good:
Professionally done work, Z enthusiast and wanted to do everything right, unfortunately needs the money to pay for school. Work was just done recently and haven't been driven more than a few times. New engine, turbos, harness, clutch, hoses, seals. Clean interior, engine bay, good price.

The bad:
1st gear grinds(synchros?)
Still need break in period
Common flaking on the spoiler

What do you guys think? I'm going to setup a day where I can look at the car and test drive it aswell. What do you guys think I should look for? He told me I can't drive it too hard because it's still in the breakin period and I could permanently mess up the clutch.
You guys think the 1st gear grind are most likely the syncros?
2nd.. when I test drive what kind of manners or habits should I do to see what problems the car has w/o stressing the parts or symptoms for the synchro?

I'm just really blinded by wanting this Z real bad... so give me your most honest opinion tt.net owners are known for!
oh btw it's all OEM yay!!!
